Benefits
The Consignment Sale is run solely by volunteers. Your volunteer help is needed to ensure the success
of Sale-which means the success of our programs and member benefits. We ask all sellers who are able
to volunteer to work one shift during the Sale.
But…there are incentives! If you work 2 or more shifts (one must be on Saturday), you are able to
preshop on Friday night -- before the public gets access to all of the deals! If you really can't volunteer at
the Sale -- if you're out of town, working, nursing, a single parent, etc.-- you can still sell your items without
volunteering. SSPOM members who sell but who do NOT volunteer will receive 70% of the revenues, still
more than what you'd get at a Consignment Sale. And more importantly, the rest of the proceeds support
the Club!

Non-members and members are encouraged to volunteer. For questions about volunteering, please read
the volunteer guidelines on the forms page.
Pre-Shop Guidelines
Once you sign up for a shift, you're required to find a replacement should you not be able to work that
shift. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your shift. This will give you enough time to be
trained on your volunteer role. Refreshments will be available during your shift.
Privileges
All members who volunteer TWO SHIFTS (one shift must be on Saturday) are allowed to shop on Friday
between 7:30pm-9:30pm. Members of SSPOM and other parents of multiples may shop early on
Saturday, 7am-8am. The Sale opens to the public at 8 am.
Volunteer Shifts
All shifts are listed on the volunteer agreement. Please read the agreement thoroughly before
committing your time.
